Christine & Larry’s Engagement Pics

Friday, October 28th, 2011

Nothing is more fun for me than getting to work with couples who love to have FUN! Christine and Larry recently went back to the place they first laid eyes on each other, Mizzou (Missouri University) for their engagement pictures. Christine and Larry have been planning their November 26th wedding for months now and it’s hard to believe it is just around the corner! When Christine and Larry are together it just makes sense…and I am looking forward to sending this beautiful bride down the aisle in just a few short weeks!

Anne and Ryan’s Engagement Pictures

Friday, July 8th, 2011

I am fortunate enough to know this bride and groom for years now.  Anne is a sorority sister of mine from Purdue University.  She is one of the most fun loving, humble girls I know.  Everyone that cross paths with this kindergarden teacher has nothing but nice things to say.  So it wasn’t much of a surprise when Ryan felt the same way about her.  We all loved and adored Ryan from day one but we all like to think that he was one lucky guy to snag such a wonderful girl…

Ryan and Anne have known each other for a long time. Their relationship started off just being family friends but they both went off to college didn’t really cross paths again until her senior year of college (Ryan was living/working in Muncie which is not far from Purdue.) Anne laughs and says she wishes she had a great romantic story about how they reunited but it is as simple as it sounds, they ran into each other after many years…at a bar…and have been together ever since.

Maggie and Micah Engagement Pictures

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

I must admit this is probably one of the most fun-loving couples I’ve ever met.  Maggie, Micah and families will travel from New Mexico and Texas to the rolling hills of Richland, MO for their July 2nd Rustic tent wedding.  Maggie spent much of her life visiting with family and friends at the beautiful Nickens family country home just outside of Waynesville, MO.  I can’t wait to blog about the details of this wedding!  I have been waiting to explore my Midwest country-side wedding design for years now… make sure you bring your dancing boots and Yee-Haww’s – because Kristin Ashley Events is going country!

Cristy Cross captured Maggie and Micah’s Engagement pictures in New Mexico.

Kate and Grant’s Engagement Pictures

Thursday, May 19th, 2011

Kate and Grant have been planning their August 20th wedding from South Carolina.  They recently visited St. Louis to spend time with family, enjoy showers, BBQ’s, tastings, planning and an evening with the talented Heather Roth with HSR Photography for their engagement pictures.  It was nice to have a break from all the rainy weather and send them off with Heather and Ryan to play around in Forest Park.

They will get married at the Messiah Lutheran Church followed by dinner and dancing at Lumen Private Event.  I can’t wait to share the details of this wedding with everyone!

I think everyone will agree with me when I say this couple will have no problem with pictures on their wedding day!

Whitney and Vance Spring Engagement Photos

Friday, March 4th, 2011

Today I didn’t have to dig deep to find my favorite Spring engagement photos.  I reached out to my friend Whitney who married Vance back in September in Chicago, IL.   Whitney and Vance wanted pictures that explain who they are as a couple…fun-flirty- and in love.

How can you not love these Spring Tulips?!

It’s easy when you are in love…

Chicago has the second best skyline in the world…I would have to say I think it’s the best for engagement pics!

Whitney and Vance wanted their shoot to be like a date night.  So after pictures in the city they headed over to Navy Pier to reenact their one of many date nights.  Engagement pictures are easy when you just have FUN!
